K1 Fiance Visa
The K1 Fiance Visa allows the foreign fiance of a US Citizen to enter the United States for the sole purpose of getting married. This visa requires an Adjustment of Status to become a Legal Permanent Resident after getting married.
CR1 and IR1 Marriage Visas
The CR1 or IR1 Marriage Visa allows the foreign spouse of a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident of the US to enter the United States to live and work in the United States. This Visa provides Legal Permanent Residency and does not require an application for an Adjustment of Status.
Adjustment of Status to Become a US Legal Permanent Resident “Green Cards”
Adjusting Status to become a Legal Permanent Resident allows K1 Fiances who have gotten married, Students who are married to a US citizen and illegal Aliens who entered the US legally to adjust their status and have since overstayed their visa to become Legal Permanent Residents based on their marriage to a US Citizen.
